I was born in Ohio and grew up in West Virginia. My father was a PCA pastor, and much to my amusement, I showed up many times as the sermon illustration both positively and negatively. I received Christ at a young age and began to perceive a call to serve the church as a teen. I lettered in all four sports that my high school had which required the rigorous requirement of a heartbeat. As a senior in high school, I lead a youth group.
In 2004, I graduated with a degree in Student Ministry at Geneva College in Pennsylvania and had already served a PCA church as a Youth Director for one year in Pitcairn, PA.
I have been blessed to spend the bulk of my adult life serving the church as a Youth Director; however, God has also seen fit to allow me to successfully build houses, sell cars, manage a shoe store, and be a house parent for wards of the state.
Desiring to be obedient to God, I began to pursue a Master of Divinity in 2010 at Reformed Theological Seminary and will complete my degree in the near future at Erskine Theological Seminary. I am currently under care of our Presbytery seeking ordination. In addition to serving in our youth ministry I have enjoyed the warmth and fellowship while teaching in the Covenant Sunday School class. I am blessed to have four beautiful children, Jonica, Jackson, Storey, and Harrison. I enjoy playing sports, reading, all sorts of games, long walks on the beach, and preaching.
