2007-2008 is “The Year of the New Song”
for the Worship & Arts Ministry.
Our theme verse is Psalm 40:3.
I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry.He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; He set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the LORD.

Based on this verse as well as Colossians 5:19, the Worship and Arts Ministry mission statement reads, "The goal of the Worship & Arts Ministry is to enable and equip God’s people to worship Him through music and the arts with joy and excellence thereby providing a clear witness to the watching world of the Christian’s ‘new song’”.
This year we will focus on the second part of our goal as we reach out beyond the walls of our church to bring God glory in and through the arts. Won’t you join us in this adventure and get involved?
