Paul Poynor Casual Cust

Does this sound like you?

I'm over 65 years old and believe that I can participate even more in St Andrews Presbyterian Church.  Our senior adult group nurtures me through thoughtful Bible studies.  The special events interest me and I like to do things with the people who take part.  Over lunch together, I realize that people really care for me and include me as a friend.  I love to share my talents with the church and choose to be involved not only with other senior adults but with the whole church family.

You are welcome to join us.  Become a vital part of what God is doing here. Call me with any questions or, just come and get involved!

The Senior Adults are involved throughout SAPC.  You'll see them participating in the choir, Wednesday Night Bible Studies, Shut-In Ministries, Sunday School classes, groups such the Knitting Group, and a variety of other areas.

Special Senior Adult Bible Studies for anyone interested are held on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month with a lunch to follow.  Additionally, there are regular outings to which all are welcome.

For additional information on the Bible Studies offered on Wednesday Night, or on Sunday School classes, please visit the Christian Education page under "Ministries."

There are a variety of areas where you can be involved.  A few are highlighted here.

In addition to these specific groups, there are opportunities to assist with special events, work days at the church, missions trips and many other activities.  Contact any ministry or call the church office for information, for ideas or to just ask questions.

K groups
K Groups stand for Koinonia Groups, from the Greek Word used multiple times in the New Testament and primarily meaning “fellowship, sharing in common, communion” (first used in Acts 2:42).  These groups meet at various times and in various places.  For more information, please contact the church office at (803) 732-2273.

Tuesday Bible Studies for Men and Women
Men's Bible Study is held each Tues at 6:30am at SAPC.  The women also have weekly studies (except for the 3rd Tues of each month) at 9:00am and 7:00pm.  The same study is offered at both time slots.  For more information regarding the women's studies, please visit the
Women's Ministry page.

Fellowship Circles
During the third Tuesday of each month, the women gather in Fellowship Circles that meet at various times and locations.  These groups provide an opportunity for women of all ages to meet in an informal setting for Bible study, fellowship and encouragement.  Information on Fellowship circles can also be found on the
Women's Ministry page.

Worship and Arts
There are numerous activities within the Worship and Arts Ministry, and many Seniors are already actively involved here.  For an idea of the areas of ministry within Worship and Arts, please
