Pipe Installation Update
In June of 2004, St. Andrews Presbyterian Church acquired a new organ built by Walker Technical of Zionsville, PA, for our sanctuary. At that time the Organ Committee recommended that the option for adding ranks of pipes to our totally digital instrument be left open, and that an organ fund be established to that end. Having acquired the funds and Session approval the committee contracted with R. A. Colby of Johnson City, TN, to do the pipe installation. R. A. Colby also built the original console for the Walker instrument. The modifications to the chancel area were performed by Cashion Electricians Inc. and Blanchard Builders LLC with the pipe cabinet work and finishing by the latter. The pipe installation was completed in mid-August, 2007 and we are pleased to dedicate the installation to the glory of God and the enhancement of the worship of His people here at SAPC.
