Billy Pittman

I was born in Orangeburg, SC, but have lived in West Columbia nearly my entire life. I also have deep Tar Heel roots, as much of my family are from eastern North Carolina.

At 5 years old, I accepted Jesus as my Savior and was baptized. I was fortunate enough to attend Christian school during my most formative years. After graduating from Brookland-Cayce High School and the University of South Carolina, I earned an MBA in Business Administration from South University.

My wife, Suzanne, and I met in high school, and after dating for 6 years, we married in 1993. Five years later, God both surprised and blessed us with triplets—two girls (Ashlyn & Taylor) and one boy (Randy).

After more than three decades as a controller or vice president of finance in the dental retail business, I began to feel a calling beyond the corporate world. I trusted God to find a place that would provide real purpose at this stage of my career, and God provided! I was honored to accept the role of Church Administrator at SAPC.

I have a great family and an incredible wife who never ceases to amaze me. Outside of work, I enjoy studying American history, participating in living history events, hunting, and fishing (I am a U.S. Coast Guard licensed captain). And, I like to tell people about the one and only Savior—Jesus.
