Three-Year Giving Journey

In recent years, it has become clear that our facilities require meaningful care and thoughtful improvement. At the same time, the Session has been prayerfully considering how God is calling us to reach our neighbors and welcome new people into His family. Through the diligent work of elders, deacons, staff, and ministry teams, we have sought to steward what God has entrusted to us. After much prayer and discussion, the congregation has now affirmed a clear path forward.

Campaign Purpose

We are stepping forward in faith together into the next chapter of God’s work at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church. The purpose of the Building Forward campaign is to steward what God has entrusted to us while preparing our church to welcome, disciple, and serve others faithfully in the years ahead.

Rooted in our theme “One Lord, One Hope, One Family” (Ephesians 4:4–6), this project seeks to strengthen both the unity of our church family and our ability to extend Christ’s hospitality to our community. While St. Andrews is known for its warmth and faithfulness, our facilities increasingly present barriers to clarity, accessibility, and welcome—especially for first-time guests and growing ministries.

These physical improvements serve a spiritual mission. They are not about aesthetics for their own sake, but about removing obstacles, strengthening ministry, and reflecting the joyful welcome of the gospel. As Christ gives grace to each member of His Body (Ephesians 4:7), this campaign invites every part of our church family to participate prayerfully and joyfully in building forward—together—for the glory of God.

Following worship on July 12, we will gather outside the current office entrance for a groundbreaking ceremony. Afterward, we will celebrate together with a covered-dish lunch in the Great Hall. This will be a significant day in the life of our church.

Questions and Answers

Testimonials

The upcoming capital stewardship campaign project gives me the opportunity to be faithful to God who is the head of the church and help us prepare for what God has ahead.

— Tom Siler

As God’s people, I trust that out of our love for this church and for Christ, we will invest not just our financial resources, but our prayers, encouragement, and time, as we walk with each other in this endeavor.

If SAPC didn’t exist, my life—and my family’s—would look completely different. Before coming three years ago…we were believers, but not growing, not connecting, and certainly not living out the vision God has for His Church. Here, we found community, discipleship, purpose, and a family of believers who walk with us. We are thriving—and profoundly grateful.

— Kristy McHenry

Building and Planning for the Future Takes Wisdom and Faith

Building and planning for the future takes wisdom and faith. Pastor Rattray, along with the leadership of St. Andrews, has been seeking wisdom and praying earnestly to determine God’s will in this process. We’ve set three prayerful goals for this campaign. Our first goal is $1.8 million—a significant step forward that invites each of us to participate through prayer and generous giving. Our second goal of $2.5 million stretches us further, calling us to trust God in new ways. Our third goal, $3.5 million, reflects what’s possible when we come together in faith and generosity. We worship a generous God, and it’s a joy to celebrate what He can accomplish through His people.

Please join us in praying for God’s provision and guidance as we take this step of faith together. Every gift makes an eternal impact.
