In the past 40 years of doing Audio/Lights/Video, I have seen a lot of changes in the church when it comes to the technical side of things—we don’t just turn the PA system on with a single switch anymore.  But one thing has not changed for me, and that is the pure joy of producing great audio through the music and letting the Word of God be heard clearly in the services, the classrooms, and even on computers and phones.  I especially enjoy teaching what I know to our volunteers and to the youth, so they can experience the same joy I have when we come together in worship or help setup for special events.

I have been at Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church for 32 years, and—like my wife (who is the pianist 😊)—I do not consider St. Andrews my job, but my church and my family.
