I was born in Columbia and have lived in this area for most of my life. I attended church regularly as a child but did not really commit to a relationship with Jesus until my freshman year at A.C Flora High School, when I got involved with an amazing youth group in downtown Columbia. I attended Midlands Tech and have gone on to work at a variety of places, including a large church in Columbia and five years as an accountant in the Governor’s Office.

My first husband died when my children were young, and I stayed at home with them for about 10 years. During that time, I met and married my second husband, Jaye, who is a graduate of CIU and a reformed pastor of a small house church. The Lord brought me to SAPC in 2009, and this has truly become my second church home. 

Jaye and I enjoy music, traveling when we can, and spending time with our children and three grandchildren—who, if you know me, I am certain you have heard about!
